The distribution of power! Jan has the absolute power in the team - like Lance Armstrong...in the years of his Tour victories.

In the Tour, it's important to use every opportunity to distance or eliminate adversaries and if there's a chance, I won't hesitate to attack.

I have the motivation, but not the legs. I still have a lot of work to do, but I'm confident in myself.

I'm not looking at the general classification but I will be keen to test my legs on a few key stages.

I'm going to try every day to reduce this 55-second split. I could go to my room, get into bed, pull the sheet over my head and cry, but I won't.

The knee held up well and I felt like I made progress. Just finishing the course was a small victory for me.
